About me and the skill

My name is Lucia Figueiredo and i was born in Coimbra, Portugal in 1970. I attended school in Coimbra for a little while and moved to Figueira da foz to finish High School. When i turned 18 we moved to the United States, we're we reside to this day.

While in Coimbra i was blessed to attend Catholic School and that's when i learned this beautiful craft from the convent of "As Irmas do Bom Pastor". One particular Sister was in charge of the shop and her name was Mother Theresa.

It's thanks to her that i can carry out this ancient stitch over seas and save it from extinction. I dedicate this website to her as well as Jesus, my biggest friend at all times.

I live in Nashua, New Hampshire in the United States with my 4 children and my loving fiancé. I speak Portuguese, English and Spanish and love to help anyone with any questions. Feel free to e-mail me in the contact page.
